Dale Thomas is a gun no doubt at all about that. Murphy up until this year has played in an ordinary side copping the best players each week. Thomas hasnt. Compare apples with apples. I have no doubt at all with Judd and a fit Stevens firing, Murphy will show why he was the number one pick. Also for what its worth, you guys will beat the pies this week by 4 goals, bank on it!

My 5 year old used to say "worser" when she was 3.
Perhaps you should also attent Prep a couple of days a week, it worked for her, so it should work for a 35 yr old collingwood supporter ...worth a shot anyway . :thumbsu:

The boundary line was the best defender and tackler involved in that particular play. :cool:

Murphy tackled Thomas to the ground last year when I thought he would have had the speed and the footwork to break free.
 
lol! he is nothing more than a zippy, flashy HFF. Yeh, he'll give the supporters a bit of excitement with his routine 10-15 disposals a game, but he's really not wat some make him out to be.

A lot of guys from school compare him to marc shmurf (same draft), but the two are no comparison!!! Marc murph is prepared to go in there, and is much more effective than Thomas is. The fact that Thomas kicks more goals (playing on a HFF) certainly does not mean he's better than Murph.

If DT played in the middle with Murph, he would sh!t himself! He's one of those players like Lloyd who always appeals for those needless free kicks!

Actually the difference in goals p/game is only 0.2

This equates to DT kicks an extra goal every fifth game, so if they both play 250 games at current averages, DT will have 200 goals and MM 150. Not much difference over the course of a career. I'd love to see the goal assists tally.

FWIW I still think Daisy is great and would love him strolling around the Blues HFF.
 
Wish Thomas was around to be picked up instead of kennedy....so that we could have sent him to WA!! Although i wouldn't want to resign any poor sole to have to join collingwood..

in regards to Murphy v thomas...........thomas is a non-tagged footballer who is allowed to do his own thing by his coach. he happens to play in a decent side as well. whereas Murphy was the number 1 tagged player at carlton in his 2nd year of football!! Murphy is an out and out champion. thomas is and will be a gun player but has Buckley's chance of ever winning a premiership :rolleyes:

what is it with all you guys always stating that 'marc murphy is better than dale thomas because he gets a tag every week' All this statement proves is that scott pendlebury is better then the both of them as he was tagged last year and missed out on the b&f by a vote in a team that finished top 4. I have nothing against Murphy but this tag statement is used a ridiculous amount of times amongs Carlton supporter posts.

How funny is this SH#T ..... Carlton are in no place to tell us where we are going wrong for starters. Even by some act of God you beat us on the weekend it still means nothing in regard to the big picture. You are a bottem 8 side.

D T is a good player who dosent shy backing into packs. If thats all too much for people to admit then dont bother posting on this board.
