His first CD, O, was a stunning CD, music at its best. It contained enchanting songs such as:
The Blowers Daughter
Cannonball
Delicate
Cold Water
Not one of those songs was a let down. To me this is probably the finest debut album I have heard (along with AAEA by the counting Crows).
Now...I just purchased his second CD, 9, and I must say I am quite disappointed, although I will listen to it more and see if I can get into it. He has definietly changed styles, and I do not think it is a change for the better. Not one song comes close to those mentioned above.
So, my questions to all other Damien Rice fans: what is your opinion of his new CD? Do you think he has changed for the better? What is your favourite song of his?
