It's a certanty that one of them will not get a pp as melb are now on 4 wins with carlton so a win to either will sacrifice the pick.:) We will end up with pick 1 and 17 and 19 or 2, 18 and 20 if they both win then we get 1, 17 and 18.

On a brighter note I don't think the Blues or Dees are going to qualify for the PP after all.
Could be an interesting clash when they play each other.
If thert is any truth to the tanking theory then one of them will be dissapointed when they play.
If melb wins another one they loose the priority that they have at the moment, and if Carlton wins they loose theirs.
For our sake I hope Carlton have a win.

It seems that a few have forgotten the Blues play the Dons next week at the G and are a fair chance of snatching that as well, especially if the Dons are out of the running for the finals.

Melbourne play Collingwood, Fremantle and Carlton in the next 3 week

But if there is any reality in the tanking theory then they will not win another game this season and the same goes for the Blues which makes there round 22 clash very interesting.

And we play them the week after...our priority could be under threat too;)

I hate the Bummers just as much as the filth....love to win that one too!!

Edit: The again...the old man should be back for them...if they don't lift for that game with the Sheeds farewell thrown in....well....Bummer!!!

Just when it seems we have the chance to get off the bottom of the ladder the Dees have come out and given the Dogs a hiding.

For us to win only 2 games in a season and still not get first pick is a disaster. Why would you not be ecstatic that Melbourne won? That's one team that we should beat to first pick because of their win last night, now it's bloody Carlton's turn to win one

I can see Melbourne Vs Carlton being a game of "whoever can rush more behinds loses"

Melbourne 0.53 = 53
Carlton 0.53 = 53

What happens if there is a draw? Do they need the win or just any points?

I'm rapt Melbourne won.

It's about time we became accountable as a club.

Melb beating Doggies was expected as the Doggies arent much. Melb beating Collingwood, no hope. Melb beating Freo at Subi following week=no hope

I have a feeling Carlton may be a chance against Essendon but they won't win. Sheedy would love to win this one;)
Carlton beating Kangas=no hope

Melb and Carlton are on 16 points. There is no way they will both win until the last round.
So one stays on 16 points and the other jumps to 20.

Richmond should beat Essendon, we owe them and Sheedy! We can beat St.Kilda on the Saturday of the last round. It's about time we created our own destiny. 2 out of 3 wins and we go to 18 points.

Then Melb vs Carlton on the Sunday. Let them belt each other to submission or let them prance to a first round pick.

My prediction

Carlton - 20
Richmond - 18
Melbourne - 16

Bring it on!

Uh dude we want to finish behind melbourne and carlton and let one of them win in the last round so one will miss out on priority picks, hopefully carlton. We still want to win 1 more game but no more than that, if we do it's an absolute disgrace from the richmond board and the recruiting department. If we do what I said we get Kreuzer or Cotchin either one is good.

You mean receive the "Wooden Spoon"???

Where's your freakin' pride??

:thumbsd::thumbsd:

PS

Melbourne dont get a priority pick as they have won more than 4 games last year/this year

No Johnson - No Doggies

and all of a sudden? yep they doggies are in the nowhere land of 9, 10 and 11. Talking about going back to the drawing board.
Loved the look on Smorgon's face ontop of looking at the doggie supporters with that look on their faces that we are all to farmiliar with.
Great fit isnt it Rocket? you really picked out the team that suits. I mean a defensively inclined coach, steering a team that has a leaky defence and no forward line. LMAO....yep you pulled the right rein with that one dude. ;)

If they don't win again, they actually do get a priority pick at the start of the 2nd round, just like we do.

Yeah I see, I don't mind that priority pick.

Richmond ending up with the spoon and Carlton getting 1st choice/priority pick sux
