It's a certanty that one of them will not get a pp as melb are now on 4 wins with carlton so a win to either will sacrifice the pick. We will end up with pick 1 and 17 and 19 or 2, 18 and 20 if they both win then we get 1, 17 and 18.

If thert is any truth to the tanking theory then one of them will be dissapointed when they play.
If melb wins another one they loose the priority that they have at the moment, and if Carlton wins they loose theirs.
