Where have I said that the club has done nothing wrong? It has done plenty wrong, but it has also done a lot right, I'd suggest a lot more has gone right than wrong over the last few years. You don't make finals 3 years straight beating most of the top 8 sides along the way if they aren't. Now we need to do everything possible to improve on those results, might not happen this year, but we're in a good a position as we've been in a long time to recover and make another charge starting next year especially if we can add some genuine quality to the list at seasons end.

Here is the difference, everyone knows for a fact that it is Saturday, has been since way back when. It is opinion, dressed up as fact, that Dan said the things that have been claimed, nowhere has he or anyone else at the club said that we've given up trying to win a flag or asked for congratulations for simply making finals. Yes they have been pleased to have made finals, especially given where we were at the end of 09, but they aren't happy that we haven't won one, nor are they happy with us being 3-6 at this stage of the year.

The head of football at the club stated that they knew that their plan would only get so far and that to put the club in the best position to win a flag was not something they were going to do.

We are still waiting for our big fish from Dan. Not the 34 year plan of relying on list cloggers .i thought we were passed that phase in time. Or was the big fish that hmmmmmhmmmmm?????

He will struggle based on his history and the clubs record
to lure a Big Fish. I mean Hampson Knights Pets Yarran Chapliin etc means He could be the other fellow

It's been a success if you look at the players we've retained. Probably don't care though.

Easy to retain players rather than bringing guns in. RFC has a great history of retaining players. This argument was answered last year in a thread and I think Ottens has been our greatest loss in the last 17yrs ,but had we chosen wisely with the two first picks we could have won on it. We actually hang onto our players for too long when some could be better off traded. TV is a classic example.
