Seeing as we've lost a week of discussion anyway, I thought the topic deserves it's own thread.

How many of us saw it today? If you didn't you missed out - it was absolutely classic!

As others have said 10/10 to the crowd today, but jeez, Dandy deserves 11. :D
 
I saw it !!!!! Was sensational effort Dandy!!!

Was watching for VB's reaction as he ran passed at the end of the game, but didn't notice anything too much !!

Awesome effort from the crowd today, loudest, proudest and most passionate crowd i've experienced since i started attending the games many many years ago !!

Great effort and bring on the prelim !!!

Thanks everyone. Was well worth the time it took to make, although my boss didn't appreciate me rocking up to work on 3 hours sleep :)
The lady behind me kept questioning my sexuality, and I totally clocked some poor guy in the head with one of the handles, but overall it was a success - I couldn't really see, but my friend said she saw VB look a little confused as he ran past it haha.

It got onto TV - just at the end, right after Roo's interview. You can sorta see (most of) it, along with me yelling like a moron, as Reilly runs by the crowd.

...though I will confess to using the punchline as the great man ran past in the first quarter and got a laugh from the crowd before the banner was spotted :o

I was back behind you in Bay 232.....pointing it out to everyone around me.

What is it about "non-Big Footy" supporters that don't get the joke??....:confused:

I mentioned to the chap sitting next to me that VB can slam revolving doors...........I think he got a little afraid of me after that.....:o

There's an interview with VB in the latest Crows mag they send out to members and a supporter (from here i'd suspect) asked if he knew how much everyone raved over him and mentioned the "slamming revolving doors" joke... VB admitted he had no idea bout the fuss being made and hoped that some of the other jokes/stories about him were better than that... hehehe...
 
Sorry Danny but there is no one on earth in the class of VB for him to breed with.:D
 
Great banner :thumbsu: I was sitting in the same bay and saw him run past at the end...looked like he 'clapped' the banner so to speak.

That was my one. There was also a VB banner that Southerntakeover and ICDM had on the forward flank around the 50m line. I didn't spot them until the third or fourth quarter but we had a bit of cross bay worship of van Berlo when I spotted them...that is, across five or six bays.

I was sitting right behind you...about 3 rows back! I was dying to see what it said (i could see it was a reference to Van Berlo) and then thankfully someone asked you to turn it around (at 1/2 time i think?) and i caught a look at it! :thumbsu:
