That's right, the great man will play his 150th AFL game next week in the 2010 AFL Grand Final versus the Saints.

It's only fitting, that the player that is about to join the likes of Kyne, Buckley and Rose as threepeat Copeland winners, plays his 150th on the grandest day of all.

Swan joined Collingwood from the Calder Cannons via the 2001 draft (pick 58, round 4), and while he only played 30 games in his first 4 seasons at the club, most at Collingwood knew of the talent the man possessed.

After some initial off field problems, Dane "knuckled down" and over the past 3-4 season has become not only an elite midfielder, but also one of the standout footballers of his generation.

The man who proudly wears number 36, has had back to back season with over 750 disposals, which no player in the history of the game has.

Swan should be awarded the Brownlow medal on Monday Night, but the quietly spoke (at least in front of the media) young man would tell anyone he would swap it for a win on Saturday.

So, Congratulations Dane Swan, on 150 amazing games for the Collingwood Football Club, and may your 150th be your most memorable yet.:D

GO SWANNY.:D:thumbsu:

GO SWANNY.

Yep!! Totally agreed.

I also stand to make a tidy profit having placed a bet for swan to take the brownlow at the start of the year. GO SWANNY! GO PIES!! :D

CARRRNNNNNNN DAANNNNNEE!!!!!!!!

Hopefully we can get over the line, and as thrilled as I am for Swan to be playing his 150th game, I seriously just want a Premiership, and I am sure he would be in the same frame of mind.

But good luck Dane, you're my tip for the Norm Smith.

Congrats on your 150th game, The Great Dane Swan

it is amazing how far he has come in his football journey (and to think he still have plenty of years to go!), let's hope he could lead the Pies to a famous victory!

On ya Swanny, I am sure you would do us proud next Sat!!!

We don't even have to tell Mars what our favourite Swan moment is, most of them have been put up by him already on Youtube.

My favourite;

From me as well Dane Swan WELL DONE

The Great Dane.

He is a Collingwood great!:thumbsu:

It wasn't one of Swannies best moments but one I remember clearly, was getting the dish off from Pendles and goaling, in the dying seconds of overtime against the Eagles in the 2007 SF.

He goals, the siren goes and Swanny raises both arms and leans back pumps them as running around behind the goals and back onto the ground.

Champion.

We have been very good in milestone games this year (excluding Fraser's).
Hopefully the boys can get over the line for Swanny.
