wait till u hear someone say wtf.... that annoys me the most. i notice a lot of people at school actually say things like lol and wtf. my brother has even started to say this stuff because he knows it annoys me:mad:

Me thinks there is a bit of pot calling the kettle black here. How many times have I seen "IMO" written on these very pages. It's a new world we're living in, IMO.

If Dangermouse only gets on the field for 10 games out of 22, i'd be interested in your thoughts on who of the other newbies will play the most games? Maybe Tex or Petrenko or ???

_______________
VB for captain:D

Tex is about the only one I'd be betting on.

In R1 we have 3 omissions from the team which played in the final in 2008 - Symes, Bassett & Massie. In come Reilly, Porplyzia and Tex. Everyone else is waiting for injuries or poor form from someone else in order to get their chance.

You don't think Trent is a chacne to play in Round 1?

Hentschel is not a newbie, as per the question in the OP.

However, I'd be more willing to bet on Walker making his debut in R1 than Hentschel making his return. Hentschel will be given opportunities during the MMC, but I'm thinking he needs some SANFL form behind him before returning to AFL action.

It will be interesting to see the shape of our forward line in 2009, with 4 tall forwards really pressing for selection - Tippett, Gill, Hentschel & Walker. I'd say only 3 will get selected each week.

Andy Otten will play 10 plus games this year and a good chance for round 1 and if any injuries happen between now and then, Arron Kite may play as a defender. I expect him to play between 5 to 10 (maybe more) this season as a defender.

Yes, of the new youngsters Andy ForgOtten is one of the most likely to play games this year (ahead of Kite, Sellar, Petrenko, Cook etc)

Andy hasn't been forgOtten, but he has to wait for a vacancy to open up. We already have two experienced midfielders (Reilly & Porplyzia) to slot in ahead of him.

I too would not be surprised to see him get 5-10 games this year as injuries take their toll. VB's plantar fascia injury may just be the opening he needs.

He'll squeeze into our foward line or denfense if the midfield has no injuries. His versatility will help him string some games as he can play 3rd tall as well as mid.

I'm willing to wager that Myke Cook (with the exception of Walker) will play the most games of the 1st and second year playes. He's got the pace that the Crows lack.

be very close between him and Dangerfield. Both have what we need. I'd expect to see games from both, but would be leaning toward Danger for more.

At the expense of who?

I agree with Vader, barring season ending injuries I don't expect to see more than 5-10 games out of any of the first and second year players, or even some of the third.

Hopefully Gill is in the SANFL

Why?

We don't even have anyone else in our side capable of playing CHF to his level.

On the contrary, I'd say that unless his form slumps, Gill would be the first of those four picked every time, then Tippett, with Hentschel and Walker to toss a coin over.
Because I equally like all 4 but I can follow all 4 in any week if Gill is playing with the Roosters.

Was stating it's easier for him to slip in because he can play back middle of forward. Not saying he's better than someone back or forward now. Just if there's an injury anywhere, he'll be a candidate.
