Daniel Breese

Hi all.


Couldn't help but notice browsing through the "Tradings and Delistings" thread that everyone that put a list in had Daniel Breese on the "no value" list.

Now, I don't follow the Demons, but hasn't he been injured for most of his time at Melbourne? I seem to recall Daniher mentioning his name last year when the club was lacking talls in the backline. I watched him play several times at Vermont, and a couple of times at Sandringham as well, and in my belief he's a potential key position player that can hold his marks.

Am I so far off the mark that it's not funny?

Umm yeah pretty much!

To be honest I've really only seen him play live once. He played at CHF for Sandy in last season's VFL finals vs Box Hill @ Box Hill. He really was good that day, taking many strong marks. From memory he kicked poorly either 1.3 or 0.4, which let him down a little.

He's had injuries & bad luck this season but we're hardly light on for young developing talls atm. Ferguson,Miller,Rivers,Smith,Rogers & even Lamb must surely rank ahead of him.

Can't see us getting anything in a trade, so I reckon it's sayonara Breeza!
