I rate this kid extremely highly, and can see him firming right up closer to draft time. He will not make it past pick 10. My cousin the Oggmonster was a very big fan of David Mundy a few years ago and he has been vindicated with that assessment. He assures me Connors has every bit as much ability and reminds him of Mundy at the same age. There is a bit of Ben Hart about him in my opinion, quick, agile, courageous, good kick. Has the ability to run into a pack and run out the other side with the ball.

Definately inside mid. Nowhere near as comfortable back. Adamm Maric did a number on him at Golden Square though Maric is capable of doing a number on a few players I think. I reckon second/third round but he had a good nationals around the midfield.

I played u/18s with Connors in Echuca when he was about 15 or 16. The kid has a lot of skill IMO. He has a mcleod knack about him in that it seems he has a lot more time than others and looks like hes coasting. Love to see him go top 20. I am biased though!

Mate give the kid a break, nearlly every thread on the draft as soon as someone says somthing about this kid your there to bag him out.... so he played a bad game on a kid who is pretty good.. there is alot more up side quite frankly we are all sick of your negativity.. you sound like some jealous kid

Very very keen to get him at Carlton. I'm hoping he'll still be around at #17. Rate him very highly

Kid can play anywhere, one bad game agianst a kid that will most likely be a star. He looked very comfortable in a game late in the year against Stringrays wen he had 5 bounces and a ran around 3 players out the back line before lazering a pass to a team mate in the guts.

I was talking about how he floats across the ground and shows compsure. This is the key feature of Hart and Mundy's game. I think he will develop into a dashing back flanker. These days, about 15 players rotate through midfield so no doubt he will do that as well. In my opinion though, he's not an out and out ball winning midfielder.

Have him on my half back line anyday.

i reckon melbourne would be interested in him with pick 12. He would compliment our slower young midfielders in Sylvia, Mclean, Jones and Moloney. Is pick 12 too high though?..I do have queries over his kicking though.

well in the VC v SA game, he kicked some absolute grass cutting, worm burning mongrels off the left foot that went abotu 20 metres. He took a nice hanger though

I saw about 2 in that game, and a few more which travelled 10 metres of the ground and travelled 40m hitting the country forwards on the chest lace out. The skills were a bit down in general on that day IIRC. Against WA his kicking was fine. He also took the kickouts, a job you wouldn't give to a guy whose kicking isn't rated by the coach.

I've known daniel for sometime by watching him play with my son at both Echuca and the Pioneers. Not only can Conners play football, But is very respectful to others and has a great attitude which will make him a good leader at any club that picks him up.
