I don't disagree, but there's more reliance on half-backs in St Kilda's current scheme because they don't have another efficient way of moving the ball. With our midfield and contested marking power, that's less likely to be the case here. I've been fairly open about NWM (or someone like him) being our biggest current list need. We struggle to move the ball against the best defensive sides - it's our clearest flaw. Hinge and Milera have both been fine this season, but they're upgradeable.

Yep, for sure. And I was just trying to suggest an explanation for why he sometimes gets himself in a tangle with ball in hand - because he and Sinclair are their team's only engines.

I didn’t imagine him to look so lost in games last year, in the same way I didn’t expect him to suddenly start dominating on the wing like he has the second half of this season.

I thought he’d come good eventually, but not to this level in his second season.

Absolutely. I think self-belief is the major reason why he's had a form bump this season. Feeling that you belong is a massive to a player. I was also watching him martial his more experienced team mates today as well. We have ourselves a very special player!

I'm the first to say how much I love Dyson but I'd be taking Dan as well. He's PROPER GOOD.

Missed that, he stupidly went back a week or so ago, there’s no issues with his courage.

If Dan had of waited a month longer to re-sign, he could have got an extra couple of hundred K a year. In top of that he would have had million a year offers coming in from both Freo and WC.
