Our season kicked off when he went to the wing, we were doing well but now we are killing it.

He is one of our most important players and he’s in his second year. He’d be AA if the whole year was like this.

I think that’s why Ashcroft wins it - has he played a bad/quiet game this year?

Curtin has improved remarkably over the past few months and is arguably a far more valuable commodity than Ashcroft IMO.

I think Murphy Reid has contributed the most to his team, his goals and goal assists are the most since Cyril's debut season.

I'd be ok if Reid won over Curtin but I wouldn't be happy if Ashcroft won, yeah he's been consistent but his impact on games has been much much lower than Reid or Curtin.

I don’t remember exactly but I’m thinking it was around 15-10mins to go in the last? It spanned for around 5-10seconds, he was attacking the ball like a madman, should have got the free for too high as well

Bloody love this guy more and more every week. Bold by Nick's to put him in the centre square last night in the 4th. In the past at that sort of moment he would have looked to Laird, Crouch and Sloane. I think Nick's even let slip in the presser that Dan is his favourite too!

Must admit whilst I rated his talent I didn’t know where we’d play him or know where to play him and would have taken the West Coast trade for their 2024 first which I expected to be pick 1.

But he’s a superstar.

Last two weeks he has taken on more of a midfield role.

Instead of playing straight up and down wing, he is now part of the stoppage group.

Including starting in the middle Q4.

It's not just the posessions, but his presence at stoppages is making a difference.
