I used to barrack for the West Indies as a kid. Now, do you think I'd leave the Aussie cricket team to go and play for the Windies now ?

Speak to any current AFL footballer who's really serious about their footy. Every single one couldn't give a bugger about the team they supported as a kid.

As for someone like Kane Johnson, that was different - he just wanted to come home. I'm sure he'd have been content if Essendon or Collingwood had picked him up.

Same here...great minds think alike.

As for getting Harris simply b/c he supported the club, move on. Get him if he can play...let's not get deluded by getting blokes who simply supported us.

The Roos were stupid enough to take Bourke, why wont they take Zantuck,Gaspar and Fiora.

We might consider trading Shane Clayton, but never Harris. Harris is going to be a class player for the Roos for at least another decade.
