Pffft. Brown, yeah right. A 19 year old star fullback who will probably be the best full-back in the league. I bet your fellow supporters are glad you're not a talent scout for your club... turning down the likes of Pendlebury, Heath Shaw, Didak, Swan etc.

Not the response I expected from your type. Articulate, intelligent, with a dash of common sense. Although can any of those blokes run out of sight on a dark night - slow as old moles, we've got plenty of those - pass!

that north midfield mentioned above looks pretty terrible...i doubt they'd be letting him go.
but would happily offload our 2nd rounder and any of toovey/cook/iles for him

Swan is actually rather quick. Not lightening but certainly not slow, pay attention next time you watch a pies game. He probably appears slower because of his pretty funny looking running style.

You would have to joking if any of those players where on the table your team would jump at it, but they won't be which is probably what you were originally saying, anything that we'd offer the roo's wouldn't want, which is probably true that said if you where off loading him anyway which is how this came about I am not sure what his market value would be.

If your after guys with pace we have Egan his quick, huge leap, agile etc etc just no heart, then again you have a bloke like that too Well's

Haven't$ really heard any rumours on the North board that the club wants to move him on. I can't see why they would want to, he has been really good for us, and with swallow injured and Simmo getting old i cant see any direct replacements if he leaves us.

On saturday he played one of his better games for North, i rate him Highly and do not want to let him go.

We wouldn't take Fraser for him anyway, we have ruckman galore at North, Hamish is out for up to 2 months, we have hale, Petrie(although i hate him in the ruck he is better played elsewhere), we also have Todd Goldstien who seems to be killing it in te ruck.

Hopefully laidley doesn'y do what he did to David Kind, Troy Makepiece and give him the arse, becuase he is very impotant to us.

Harris would be handy bearing in mind Burns & O'Bree are at the end of their careers, an ideal replacement for them.

Would be hard to strike a deal though, would not be prepared to let go any high picks for him and not sure we have any players that meet the Roos needs. In fact I have no idea what the Roos need - backmen?
 
Harro is contracted till the end of next year so dont know what the story was monday night. There were rumours wells for davis 18 months ago but both have come good. plus we have campbell and thomas. Doubt theres any other trades possible.

Thanks for the compliments, but I still think you're wrong. Swan isn't slow, it's an easy misconception to make, but he is rarely, if ever, out-sprinted. Deceivingly fast due to his duck like running action. Pendlebury is also quicker than he looks, but not exactly lightning. Regardless, that's your prerogative to view them as you please. But I personally wouldn't trade them for Harris. I don't think we'd be willing to give up what the Roos would demand, therefore I can't see it happening. The team chemistry factor has to be considered, as sacrificing an early draft pick in addition to an up-and-coming youngster, Goldsack for example, could damage team morale.

Don't listen to Midas. Of course we will take the 4 you listed for Harro. Would be a shame to see him go but that is a tempting offer - 4 for 1.

It doesn't matter what you want, you're idiotic coach has effectively booted him out of the club. You will take what you are given.

Ok, amidst all the ridiculous proposals, the only realistic one I have seen is Nathan Brown for Daniel Harris.

We would probably do Harris + 2nd or 3rd rounder for Brown.

Scoff at that?

We are more than happy to keep him.

We are desperate for a full back though.

I won't scoff at the deal, but I'll scoff at the suggestion of us trading Brown. He would be close to our most untouchable player.
 
Harris won't go anywhere. Like a lot of players, clubs won't be prepared to offer what his own club would ask for such a good player.

For instance, I'd be reluctant to part with much more than a 2nd round pick and maybe a fringe player. Obviously North Melbourne wouldn't accept that.
