He has a career full of bad luck in 3 years.

Enough already.

Let him just get out there and play. Ease him back in, and let him do the rest.

It would be a massive plus if we could get him back in the side mid-season. Let's say VFL by round 4 or so and then a month there before he's ready to put his hand up for the 1sts. Going to be very nervous for the lad when he finally gets back on the field.
very hard indeed, every contest i'll expect something bad to happen

Best option is almost treat him like a first year recruit; don't expect him to be playing seniors in Round 5 or whatever, just let him get weeks under his belt in the reserves. Once he's hit 100% fitness and form we'll see him. I'd almost say for the first few matches just run around and not get into trouble.

Just great to see Menz out there.... and how about the explosive pace about 1/2 thru it when they get up from plank position and sprint 10 meters....

Damn he is fast over the short distances....

God we miss him out there...

Go Catters
And good to see that he still has that explosive pace. Will be interesting to see his agility and leap.
Fingers crossed, but the signs are certainly positive.

Mate, I think that there will be thousands of diehard Cats supporters who will be walking on eggshells every time he steps onto the ground.

Good to see him still so positive after all he has been through. Would be quite easy for the lad to think why me bit he keeps on keeping on.

Good Luck to you Daniel the legions of Cat fans can't wait to see you back in the hoops

Not just cat fans mate, we all want to see him do well. I'm sure he will act as some inspiration for our own Alex Woodward who just did his graft again during the summer. He went with a traditional graft again. I understand the multi knee victims have an informal support club for each other. Great to see players and clubs come together to provide support, share knowledge and ultimately get the players back up and playing. Good luck Daniel.

Menzel joined his fellow forwards for a 'divisional' training run on Tuesday morning at Simonds Stadium.

He was then put through a punishing individual session, which included fast changes of direction, tackling drills and marks on the lead.
The 21-year-old remains on track to play in round one of the VFL season.

how would it be if all that was required was to have LARS from the get go and he wouldn't have been through the other knee issues and wouldn't have missed a year of footy.

Perhaps the Menzel's just have the right knee structure for LARS, kinda like that Malceski for the Swans.
