Will Danny play again this year? I watched him play at willy, and I think he plays like Sir Scott Burns. He's hard at it - Just needs a bit more size. :rolleyes:*

Its that one deserves another chance although i think he maybe a little short 177cm doesnt quite cut it i think

Saw him playing at williamstown and thought he was good. His height could be a bad thing but if he is doing as well as he was when i saw him playing at williamstown then i don't think it will be a problem.
 
don't rate him at all, saw him against the Kangas at Cararra in te pre-season. Wlaks around like a big shot, poor attitude, over confident.

No rooms for his kind around the Lexus Centre.

Who cares! I don't think you will find 22 Paul Licuria's. There's more chance a pig will fly, so why bother?

Alan Didak shows a lack of respect to his opponent, but he's a great player. Enough said.
 
This kid needs to be persisted with. He has some old fashioned attributes about him even tho he is not the protypical AFL footballer these days. He has a punishing left foot and an natural ability as opposed to athletic ability.
Needs more time..... its going to be that kind of year where most players on the list have the dreaded 'potential' ....the only ones i would consider delisting or moving on at this half way mark of the year are B Davies and G Richards.....but there is still a lot of footy left...

Those poor attitude issues were in addition to the fact that I believe he just can't play. I can't believe it when I hear the words 'hard at it' when describing this kid.

He has to get the ball before he can use this allegedly damaging left foot.

I'm not your typical supporter who bags every kid who has a bad game, in fact Nicholls is the ONLY bloke on our list I don't have any time for,

considering you live in brisbane, how many games have you seen him play?
Facts: He is hard at it, has a beautiful left foot kick and pace, he is size is the only thing really going against him.

So if we had you as our selector would you have delisted Swan for being to slow and having a poor attitude? Would you have delisted ben johnson for his poor kicking, would you have delisted rhyce shaw for being absolutely crap,would you have delisted leon davis for having 1 good game in every 10 that he played, would you have delisted heath shaw for not getting a game in the seniors staright away, would you have delisted presti for being crap and not being able to kick or do anything, would you have delisted ... the list goes on and on and on. You have to give the kid the chance he has alot more upside then negatives.

A definite out at the end of the year would be davies makes to many stupid errors, our list is just to good at the moment cant really find anyone that should be delisted

I think the kid has a future. The main area he has to improve is his tacking. Being quite short, he tends to go high in his tackles thereby giving away a lot of free kicks. He just need to go for the hip like a rugby player and he will be okay.

No to all of the above - all those blokes (in my opinion of course) showed potential from Day 1. In the 5 or 6 games I've seen of Nicholls he has not only played poorly he has walked around like he is the next Nathan Buckley.

As I said, he is the only guy on the entire list I don't have any time for - I'm not a serial critic of young players. He reminds me of Julian Rowe, but with an attitude on top.

And gez that's the biggest load of sh*t I've ever read, why do you see the need to make things up to make your argument more credible?

Yeah, I'm positve you just thought Dane oozed potential when he first arrived ;)
 
what are you on about?

I saw him at Carrara and he was an embarassment.

As for 5 or 6 games, it could be more - I'm in Melbourne every week for work, so living in Brisbane doesn't mean much.

I've always been a fan of Swan, saw him win a flag with the Calder Cannons and he was superb.
