As for Schell, I am not his greatest fan and he was disapointing today - I expected at least 3 goals from him. At least he gave us a target which is more than we had last year.

We could do it now, but we have until some time later this month.

Adelaide will probably announce their delists with days of the end of the trade period, which is next week - Oct 13 to Oct 17.

If you were offended by my referal to Centrelink - I apologise but I don't apologise for giving Daniel Schell ****. He is a loser - and I don't like him. I suspect you'll see a lot more of him out at Centrals next year - because he will be delisted.

I am not that lucky either. I grew up in a household of nine people, and my parents struggled to pay the bills on time. Even today, they are still struggling.

I am sorry about the centrelink business. I have a friend who is on the dole who goes to centrelink all the time. And she is a great person.

I am sure that many central's fans are nice people, but I tell u, the people that were sitting behind me yesterday were really bad. Screaming crap at my 4 year old nephew just bcoz he had a Westies scarf on.

Obviously by the face after my statement about Gawler not being included, meant it was a joke. I full well know what sort of ferals live around here...hell I survived 5 years Gawler High School, you don't have to tell me. I didn't disagree with the comments about Daniel Schell - I think he has struggled to prove his worth.
However, my rant was directed at the stereotypical comments of people who don't belong to the CDFC supporter base or the northern suburbs.
This was a thread about Daniel Schell - not your bias against people who are all supposedly dole bludgers and centrelink refugees.
It's unfortunate that people resort to ignorant stereotypes rather than develop intelligent arguements.
All clubs have bad supporters.

Is all I posted was about Schell and his **** poor effort yesterday, nothing whatsoever about Elizabeth or Centrals supporters, do you know why? Because I don't exactly live in one of the best area's in Adelaide myself so I know what it's like for people to criticise me for living in this area.

For your information too, I would have preferred Schell to serve up a decent effort yesterday as I was going for Centrals.

It's pleasing to see a little bit of sanity coming back into this thread.

Being a Centrals supporter doesn't make you automatically a feral. They have good supporters like every other team. They do have an element of trash that follows their team which is just as much an embarrassment to the CDFC and its members as it is to anyone else - and that is no reflection on anybody here.

Just because somebody lives in Elizabeth or any other Northern suburb doen't make them any less a person. Neither does being unemployed.

BUT

It's insulting to people who do have a job to suggest that they got it by by being half good looking or winking at the boss or some such method. I've hired over 1000 people, mostly women, and the best person for the job gets it.

As for myself, I live in the Northern suburbs. I have 2 University degrees, and I paid for myself to go through Uni - every cent. As a result, I have an extremely well paid senior job in a large organization. I resent remarks that imply that I was given any of this, because I worked my arse off to be where I am today and it wasn't given to me!! I earned it!!

Some of you guys want to think a bit about what DOES makes a person feral - their actions and comments!!

Not where they live or whether they have a job!!

Actually I do have more to say - I've already defended my tactless response to the tactless comments made by people regarding 'typical' Centrals supporters.
I was drunk and fired up. I don't like disparaging remarks regarding the place where I grew up - like most people. Hence my response.
Sorry, if I caused offence by my illustration of a stereotype. It was merely done to illustrate a point.
My final word on my poorly written arguement of early Monday morning is that any time someone wants to take an opportunity on a thread about a Centrals player to slag off at their perceived image of a 'typical' supporter, I will be there to defend (hopefully with a little more tact) the community I grew up to respect.
You people who wish to do that need to “walk a mile in another man's shoes” before making such disgraceful comments.
