To be honest, he came across as a bit of a tool, but as long as he kicks and stops goals and always has the team and club at the forefront of his mind then that's all that really matters. The natural leader was the exceptionally talented, modest kid in the middle! He's got future skipper written all over him!!!!

What did he say to make him look like a Tool?

TD, Ive taken my Collingwood, rose-coloured glasses for a moment and if you look at the interview carefully DeGoey almost seems embarrassed by some of the rubbish coming out of his mouth. I agree with earlier poster who said he kept interrupting Ramma and Degoey. Dont get me wrong i like a bit of witty banter, but some of the stuff he was saying came across as being a bit immature-time and place. Jordy on the other hand was keen to talk down his mark and talk about the hard work that is needed at this level.
He might be a good kid who's quite modest and already has the respect of the group-hope so, but in the interview he came across as a bit of a tool.
Just an opinion....... ok time to put my glasses back on......I love the way he plays though!!!!

Watched it again and Moore does not mind being in front of a Camera and Microphone. Did have a bit of keeping attention seeker a little bit.

De Goey did a better job then I 1st Thought spoke well and said all the Right Things.

But hey as long as the Play Well and Not a Problem On and Off the Field then not really a Problem

I thought that too. He was making it awkward for DeGoo.

Agree TD,
Worth saying Ramma presented well also. Not trying to hang a kid on one performance nor am i saying all players need to be robots, its just personal preference i guess-i prefer absolute humility and confidence without being over confident when the kids first come to the club, others don't give a rats about that. Again, if he keeps playing like he was pre injury, Ill be a happy chappy!

I did not think Moore was over Confident.

I like when Ramsey said “Rather be at Collingwood then the 2 WA Teams” and he is from WA.

Moore is the Type I could see going on The Footy Show and Other Footy TV Shows when he Cements himself at AFL Level

You blokes having a crack at Moore for being confident need to stop blaming him for your own failures.
Our own failures are the very reason we're all on here Jmac! Let's not get too precious here, if it was Freeman putting in a performance like that there would people coming from everywhere to pot him. I'm sure he's a great young kid who will serve the club well......in hindsight tool might have been a bit harsh-although i did say he came across as one, not that he is one (hows my back pedaling going?). Ill still whack a few bob on the fact Degoey will be most likely to lead the club out of the two of them in years to come......but that's probably another thread.

I like your first sentence. So true. As for Moore, I am just wrapt he is wearing black and white and cannot wait to see him tear the game apart. Love his positive attitude, it's a breath of fresh air.

I watched the video,"Flamboyant" was the word that came to mind.

With leading teams involved, I'm sure his teammates would hold him to account if they felt he was getting a bit ahead of himself.

He and Goo are best mates and he quite obviously feels comfortable ribbing him at every opportunity he gets, Degoo did make it hard though as he was trying to be "professional". IF Degoey had of had a laugh and a bit of a dig back most would of been ok with it, myself i thought it was good to see some realness instead of sitting there bored giving pre scripted answers or answers they think we want to hear..
