Might be a little more productive if you looked at how Milburn has turned himself from an okay plodder into one of the tough nut quality players in their team. We'd love his grunt and assuredness across our backline. He is a great example of determination to succeed winning out. Quit booing and start learning and appreciating.

I certainly haven't forgotten or forgiven the act but it was a single (dirty) act years ago. Around us last night there was still 'Milburn v SOS' banter between supporters, me included :D

If I try to block out what he did I really enjoy watching him play, he's a damn fine player although I won't admit it to Geelong supporters...

I don't really think this is worth another thread.

that was an all round dirty day for us wasnt it?..they went hammer and tong at as and lost a few through suspension..there was milburn..someone else crashed into our ruckman on the ground and knocked him out..

bradley got smashed in the face and had the massive eye thing going..

ratten broke his elbow..

thing i remember about the milburn thing was the supporter behind the bench smashing the plastic barrier and the other dude that stood up on the fence..

but was a very long time ago and milburn has earnt the respect of a fair few since..

Not a great end for two of the greats of 90s football that day. Silvagni wouldn't remember it and as most people forget it was also Garry Hocking's last game. Geelong got thumped, Milburn reported, Kilpatrick reported and I believe the other one was Mensch.

Watching the Cats send Hocking out in that style was disgraceful. Lucky we've turned the culture around.

I sure has hell havent forgotten. Dirty little scum. Where is Charma I ask you Where!!!!

Milburn has dodged contested pack situations IMO, ever since that.......he appears to be looking over his shoulder a lot vs us.......I don't think he has forgotten either.

I move in honour of Miblurn, that this Board has an annual vote for the "Dazza"

It would go to the player who, despite all logic and reason, commits a ridiculously stupid and dangerous act, with a complete lack of courage, and a complete lack of understading of the environment they are in.

It doesn't have to be on the field.

I'd give the 2007 "Dazza" to Didak. :thumbsu:

Any nominees for 2008?

Good call.

Going to be hard to top.

If Crawf had hurt Brogan then he'd be nominated........but is was Brogan after all, so not in the running.

Would you forgive someone 5 or 6 years after they r*ped your sister ?

I must be a very spiteful grudge-holder because I cannot believe there are Carlton people on this forum saying "get over it".
