Davey & Bizzell

Im not sure about Davey. But i am sure that Bizzell hasnt signed.

Davey signed a 2 year contract when he joined the club (not the 1 year that was reported) so is contracted for 2005. The club is attempting to extend it to include 2006, but the important thing is he IS NOT out of contract. (See avatar for some Davey Magic).

Bizzell has not signed as he has not yet returned from a month in the US for acting lessons. The club is certain he will sign but time will tell. If he doesn't sign it will be because he wants 3 years and we are only offering 2.

The point is he probably won't be in our best side in 2-3 years and we may need that money in the 3rd year to sign others. I wouldn't want him to sign for more than 2 years.

I fail to see what this has to do with Bizzell, you didn't even name him.

He meant that as long as we don't have a good permanent full back, medium-sized defenders like Bizzell, Wheatley and Broadbridge are going to be even more important for us, so we should try to sign Clint up for 3 years.

I know what he meant, but it's funny that he named every other medium defender we have before Bizzell. If Bizzell is on 300k in 3 years and out of the best 22, what do we do if Sylvia and McLean want more money and we don't have any to offer?

i reckon we should prefferably sign him for 2 years but if its 3 years or nothing then we should sign him for 3
