Does anyone ahve any info on him
all i can tell you is he went up to seniors and kicked 3 goals
these are how many goals he kicked round by round:
2,4,2,1,1,1,3,4,4,3,2,3,1,2,3,2
TOTAL: (not incuding seniors games) 38 from 16 games
+ 3 in the seniors = 41 from 17!
he is round 177 cm i think
Small foward who can play inthe middle but best around goals

Not sure that Ebert is the best comparison for Ellard.....Ebert is a strong lead, leap and mark, whereas Ellard is more like the ground-dwelling, crumbing forward a-la Eddie......in fact Eddie is probably the best comparison for Ellard....Ellard's weapon isn't overhead, or using superior body strength for out-positioning his oponent like Addam Maric, but it is the reading of the play and a smart, natural football brain.....good reactions and a good user of the ball....if he is not in the best position to go goalwards he will also bring team mates into play in the forward line. Isn't the quickest bloke (Kreuzer ran away from him in the champs), but is about a 3.02 20m so on a par with Browney there.

I suspect at least initially he would be groomed as a direct replacement for Eddie in the crumbing FP role. He does have a good tank however and could pinch hit in the middle in time.

Told ya Gilly was the best person to ask about Ellard. :)

Absolutely spot on Gilly, although can take a nice mark when required. Played some midfield role with Swans league team in the latter half of the year, just in short bursts to rest others. We blooded something like 18 debutants this year so most were probably running out of puff at some stage. I certainly get the impression he can spend more time there as he develops. His footy nous is ver good though, his most impressive attribute IMO.
