He had a small health incident a few days after the Bombers self reported as well. I don't think thats the issue the caused him to resign. Helped with the decision but there were other factors at play other than his health otherwise he would of resigned in February.

Regardless of what ends up happening, the governance issues were so massive that Evans had to go at some stage.

It's hard to see Hird escaping with no sanction.

I'd happily have him stay (I don't think anyone at the club wouldn't) but he knows better than I his reasons for it, which at this stage look to just be because people outside the club want blood
