Re: 15. David Teague

Teaguey Teaguey Teaguey... what can I say?

2004: Massive breakthrough year, wins best & fairest and thought to be as a potential gun.

2005: Adds on some kilo's and loses his speed and drops off his 2004.

2006: Plays a small cameo in the season with a couple of games. Offered a 2 year deal.

2007: God knows if he'll get a game with the Blues (doubt it). Wish him well with the Bullies.

2008: Thank you for your services Dave, end of contract. Goodbye.

I thought his contract expires end of this year?? If that's not so, then that's a bit frustrating, because i'd rather elevate someone off the rookie list in his spot, or take a pick in teh draft.

Re: 15. David Teague

Re-signed at the end of 2005 for 2 years. Out of contract at the end of this season.
Would be one of the greatest comebacks in AFL history for him to get some senior games and prolong his career.
Was exactly what we needed for a couple of years. Physical and fearless, combined with his work ethic on the track has hopefully rubbed off on the younger guys, but sadly the game has passsed him by.

Thanks for the effort DT.:thumbsu:

BE afraid, be very afraid, his last two weeks in the Ants have been superb  :p

I think he would be a better coach then Ratten sometimes players with short career become good coaches.
