Does Daylight Saving really fade the curtains? The old do-gooders over here thought that daylight saving was the worst thing possible so after 1 year it was scrapped. As a young tacker in the early 90s I thought it was great, an extra hour of daylight to play sport with my mates

Whats wrong with it, i liked it, worked well!

What they should do is stop having bloody referendums on it & just bring it in, people will get used to it eventually & really see how great it is.

right mantis, enough of this political talk, just bring it in and those who don't like it can move to Tasmania or wherever they dont have it! Plus it is a huge disadvantage to those companies in Perth who need to do business on the East Coast, or vise versa - a person in Sydney can't call Perth at 10am because it would only be 7am here in Perth with the current daylight saving, or lack of it in WA!

Mantis we have the same probs up here. We had DLS for a couple of years......then back to the old ways.........

If you believe Sir Joh and his supporters........it has something to do with cows getting confused and curtains fading.............

DLS makes it dark in the mornings when I'm off to work and light when I'm trying to get some kip at night.

I could live without it.
