what is happening with this young man? Really started to show some more consistency last season after an injury ravaged year in 2014. Could be the long term answer forward. Enable Mitch to play on the wing or other parts of the ground. We need to give this guy a contract

I watched him when I could over the last half of the season and he reminds me of Josh Jenkins with the attitude we'd all love Josh to have. The kid is a genuine KPP who hopefully gets a chance next year so we can re evaluate which one we can afford to move on out of JJ, Ginger and McLovin. Obviously, I have one of those three in mind...and I'd bundle Mackay in with the deal to make it happen.
 
Could be AFL standard. Sometimes it's hard to tell in the SANFL because the delivery is just so shit that he gets nowhere near it.

Really like the way he moves though. Is a big unit, has the body to play AFL. Hope he gets a go next year. Would love to see him get a taste against a shit team early in the year to see what he is like when he gets decent delivery at AFL level.
 
I wish I was able to get Crows SANFL games on tv in Melbourne so I could see the likes of Dear ect.
 
Looks like he has a lot to offer, especially when we don't have any key forwards.
One blessing from the trading was we didn't swap him for Tim O'Brien from the Hawks
Crazy he hasn't got a contract yet

Except he can take a contested mark and loves the contest
 
Does Dear ruck in SANFL games? If he can ruck he would be in a better position to put pressure on Jenkins spot. Jenkins is an automatic selection as no other player on the list can chop out in the ruck and kick goals.

Never been needed to.

Would suggest he could but hes never been needed to with ROB and Paul Hunter with Lowden in the side.

With ROB, Lowden and Hunter, he'd get sweet FA opportunities I reckon. Looked OK in a NAB game last year. Competetive beast that's mobile. Pity we're all in on the Sauce/JJ combo for the next 3-4 years. Can't see him or ROB getting much action before they depart.

If you get the 7plus app and change the region to sa, you can watch every sanfl game that's televised.
