To put the timescale in perspective:
When the Bulldogs last won a Grand Final "Closer" by The Chainsmokers featuring Halsey was the most popular song. It was also the 50th anniversary of Decimal Currency in Australia.

When Melbourne last won a Grand Final people were listening to "I want to hold your hand" by The Beatles, and were still using Pounds, Shillings and Pence.
