As a defence, we need another tall backman to release Ryder up the ground with his massive engine and high leaping, was thinking about maybe Lachlan Hansen from the kangaroos, highly touted young defender but has failed to deliver, would maybe like another opp at another club, bring him to Essendon.

And as for our midfield, Stanton needs a go in the twos, is a selfish player and is only playing for himself, he wont get dropped cause we have no one to bring up, Dyson must go, i am a fan but just isnt proving anything anymore, and for Slattery and Monfries, no good, both need to go.

Is only my opinion, think what you may....

I think there are VFL games on this week will be interested to see who plays whilst we have the week off.

Neagle might play for match fitness and Stanton and others just may join him for some confidence.

I think we are very hard on Slattery he hasn't done that baldy this year. He killed Brad Johnson i thought. He is going to have some shockers but honestly who in our side would have done much better.

May as well persist with him this year he has the ability to shut down some very very good players.

I just dont think that Slattery will keep going and will play more bad games than we do win games this year. I honestly think he will never become a solid player, so am willing to give him this year and see how he goes, but to be honest he isnt gaining anything for us. one match, wow. week in week out. then we will reasess.

what do you think of lachaln hansen.

The most dissapointing aspect defensively on Sunday was not the fact we allowed 24 goals to be scored, but the effort of two experienced campaigners in Mal Michael and Matthew Lloyd allowing Westhoff to just casually stroll between them and kick the easiest of goals in the third quarter. They did not apply one ounce of defensive pressure at all.

That was the most pathetic passage of play of our year - and we've had a few.

You're kidding right? Dyson was terrible for you guys. Runs forward at all costs with no defensive plan to his game whatsoever.

I thought Rodan and Surjan were comfortably better than Dyson. They didn't get a heap of the ball, but their disposals were damaging.
Sounds like the rest of our team really.

I would hate to see how Brad Johnson goes on Slattery when he isn't killed.

You've got to be ____ing joking!

Hansen's in his second year, as a key position player (you know, the kind that take time to develop), and he's "failed to deliver".

Christ, that takes impatience to another level.

Slattery seems to be in his own world.

I believe he can be a good in and under player (Comparison to JJ). But ATM is (Rephrase:) "In his own World".

BTW, finnaly Knighta heard me.... He finally Played McPhee in the Midfield, even though he wasn't in the centre for long at least knighta's taking the option of McPhee been there, even if its just a tagging role...
