Here's what I do...

I post a reminder on my mobile phone to go off at say 5:15pm just as Degrassi finishes for the next episode...

It's still the same serious, but cheesily written storylines with bold issues, The old school are there for the opening two episodes, But I fear we may lose that contact with all the old regulars apart from Snake who is now a school teacher at Degrassi...and Mr Raditsch...Still principal...

Looks like the good looking kid formula is there, hence attractive kids are the base characters with all the uglier or less fortunately ungood looking types holding and appearing in "cameo" or brief roles...

Graet show all-round!!! I love it still and I'm 29.

I watched it. Yep its pretty cheesy. I don't know if I'll keep watching it. I think I have out grown it now. I think I have closure.

Love the new series - I'm a Degrassi addict!

A pity that the show started at 5.35pm Perth time. Some lame-o cartoon went overtime To make things worse the show ended at 5.54pm - I'm sure last weeks episode went on longer.

They hardly mentioned anything about the reunion. I had to check the Canadian Degrassi website to see the pics and read what the old cast members are up to. The Emma and cyberstalker storyline was a very good idea - as most kids can relate to that these days, while 10 years ago it would of been too far fetched!

Also the JJJ host is very annoying, although maybe if I was a 'tweenager' (9-12) I'd think she was 'cool' for giving me hints about cyberstalkers

I was watching Degrassi when The Afternoon Show was hosted by James Valentine and then Michael Tunn!!

Not to mention my favourite of all teen shows - Press Gang!!

What did everyone think of yesterdays episode (Re: School President)?

It was good to meet quite a few new characters, although I'm sure in the old series the Junior High school includes Grade 9 students. In the 'new generation' it is only Grade 7s and 8s. Next week's episodes with the fat girl not wanting to go to the school dance looks like a beauty!

What a crap show!!!! It only went for 17 minutes

Id rather watch the 15 year old ones...and least they were interesting and more realistic!
