its intersting to see the characters go from DJH to DH to DJH the next generation. In particular watching Spike and her daugther Emma together after seeing her as a baby in the old series

I started watchin it when I was about 4 or 5, looking back on it, it probably wasnt very suitable for youngsters.

Umm yeah...

DJH was a great show, I also began watching it at early age when it probably wasn't suitable - but watching repeats again on Foxtel not long ago, it's still appealing even today.

Anyone remember Press Gang? Loved that too.

Interestingly it also starred a charcter with the name Spike - he later went on to star in Lock, Stock.

Degrassi went into a lot more complex issues than SBTB ever did, although am a fan of both shows. A tv show that could follow the lives and issues of year 7 & 8 kids without degrading them, stereotyping them or even appearing the slightest bit condescending towards them, must be a great show.
