Settled down a Bit Now,

Didn't last year in RD22 was similar where we had a Shocker against the Crows at the Dome?

Then Came back strong in the Finals

Hope that happens

Re: De Ja Vu?

yeh we lost, for riciutos last game was it?? well it would have been if they lost

we were also playing for top 4 still (we needed a few other results to go away but they didnt)

de ja vu indeed

Yeah Same that the Players did not take Risks and Looked like they did not want to get Injured

Re: De Ja Vu?

Exactly. We are the club in the AFL who is the hardest to read any form into. I might be way off line, but didn't we lose, or play poorly, the week before handing the Cats a thumping this year?

We got beaten by the Tigers, thrashed by the Lions in Melbourne, beat Sydney at the G, then lost to the Crows in our last month of football.

Not excusing tonight, but our optimism can't be affected, because for all we know, we'll come out next week with something similar to tonight, or something similar to the first quarter last week. Keep the faith people.

Re: De Ja Vu?

Yeh but we lost to Adelaide but still finished 5th and didnt go interstate until week 2 so Deja Vu sort of.

This is shaping up as a similar scenario as last year.
I forgot about last game last year against crows.
I went to the bloody game. It was shit to watch like tonight's game.
I hate flooding. Absolutely stuffs up game.
Why is it that these shit teams always put in their good efforts against Collingwood.
God it's annoying.
Some of those pricks tonight played like their life depended on a win.
All season they are shit and tonight they decide to be heroes.
I hope we play in this years finals like we did last year.
One final will be similar.
Geelong v North. 20 Goal belting. :D

only difference is last year, we had bucks come back, we had rusling come back, wakes and clement were back. rocca was firing

we pretty much had a full list to choose from, only presti was still out

we're limping into this finals, very undermanned, yet.....we will not die yet

I am having deja vu. I think this time last year you came out all guns blazing posting a Chicken Little thread similar to your one earlier tonight.

So the previous 3 weeks our opposition have played well?

Do you know the de ja vu i'm having right now?
the same sense of de ja vu i get when we get to a game we are supposed to win, where there is alot depending on a win, we have the(slight) chance of putting ourselves in a strong position on the ladder,

AND WE PROCEED TO PLAY LIKE UNDER FECKIN 12'S.

I'm getting quite sick of feeling this way.

I think we are much improved to the side of last year. If we have a good game in the midfield I think we can upset them, they look extremely vulnerable to our tall forwards. It would take us playing at our best though.

There there, we had 10 of our best 22 out and a whole lot of players who probably thought lets not get injured before the finals. Other then JA and Cox, no one was going in hard at the loose ball. Its called self-preservation. I hate it but it seems to be the case with the Collingwood sides of the past decade.
