would just like to commend Geelong (albeit a little late) for their oustanding performance throughout the Wizzard Cup competition. Particularly their win over Carlton out at Optus Oval in 30 degree heat. It really was a sensational display of March football excellence in very unfootball like conditions, and one would have thought a prelude for things to come.

Now into the season proper, and if Carlton had Nick Stevens, Anthony Koutoufides, Jarrad Waite and Lawrence Angwin out there today i reckon they would have won by about 80!

But if Steven King, Gary Ablett, Ben Graham, Brenton Sanderson, Darren Milburn, Peter Riccardi, Steve Johnson, David Loats, and David Wojcinski been there for Geelong, then you wouldn't be winning or grinning at all.

Could've, should've, would've - didn't. I wasn't too confident either, but let's just say I'm relieved. Don't worry though, I reckon Geelong will bounce back sonner rather than later. They have the talent to finish in the eight, they just need the application. Those playes you mentioned - I don't think they would've made a difference between winning and losing providing we had our missing players back in. Mainly because the rest of the team was error riddled, and to win games, you need most of them to keep their skill levels to a decent level.

Scarlett couldn't even contain Fevola - most Carlton supporters thought Fev would get creamed. What makes you think that a few players that you mentioned wouldn't have had a bad day too? Sure, it would've lowered the margin dramatically, but...

... it's impossible to tell. It didn't happen. So we can go thinking "what ifs" all we want but it won't get anywhere. Look, I reckon Geelong will bounce back and finish above Richmond, Melbourne and perhaps even Essendon. If they're lucky, they'll make the eight. All you guys need is application.

I wish you good luck for the rest of the season (and I hope you smash Collingwood).

Nothing like someone going over to another team's board jsut to say

"HAHha Lolez we beataz ju!11'

Can't wait for the Blues to play a team that doesn't have Auskickers in it.

It's been so long since a troll for him GeeCat, let him grin.

You're right. The fact is we lost, and were outclassed by the better team today. There is no point in using excuses, because the fact is they weren't playing and we lost regardless. I'm not using it as an excuse, but rather as a statement to Abaddon to show that he wasn't the only one who reckoned his team would play better had their better players been on the field today. We were simply outclassed in most areas of our game today by a better side. Congradulations on your win, and good luck for the rest of the season
