People do realize of course that a blanket refusal of critical thinking is just as bad as the overreacting?

Fans pay damn good money to watch the football, i dont see why they cant express their disproval after a bad performance. Or do we only accept blindly doting fans money these days?

There's a bit of a difference between critical thinking and a mob mentality. We are seeing a fair bit of both, but it is the latter that this thread is in reference too.

Intelligent debate about the futures of the members of the coaching panel are warranted, as are discussions about what alterations in game plans and starting line-up are necessary.

On the other hand, emotion-driven blanket statements about the entire board being in bed with each other, and Neil Craig needing to be SACKED RIGHT NOW, not to mention what is in some cases fetid abuse, are foolish and immature, and deserve to be lumped in the "not worth reading" category.

It would be nice if there was a bit more critical thinking and a bit less muscle flexing going on.

There's a number of things you can do on the internet to clearly mark yourself as an idiot with no real argument to back up your blathering.

Good to see someone taking the pressure off ME then! :o:p

Repeatedly responding to posters who disagree with you, with
"You must be an insider / work for them"
is one of them.

The guys a fake just taking the piss out of this board.

exactly, it's a very interesting social observation. A lot of people say and do things very reactively and emotionally.

The fair minded person, looks at the situation objectively and instead of calling for heads, looks at the problem and then looks for a solution. To so this you have to look at the bog picture. Sacking people after a rough trot is absurd.

I also notice people have no patience and are very short sighted. They struggle to see that things will change, and do it all the time with young players on particular. Often if we see them play a few games, see them make
mistakes, we often can't see any potential in them anymore. Ofcourse people develop at different rates and usually time is why is needed.

People love to blame, not sure why but I guess it makes us feel better that somebody else is responsible, however there is a huge difference between blame and accountabilty.

Good point :thumbsu:

I know i was looking for someone to blame on sat afternoon during the game & was pleading for Craigy to bloody well do something just anything but do something.

No place at all though for personal abuse & those that spat out the garbage toward our players & coaches during & after the game should be ashamed of themselves.

Personally I reckon it's time that we simply dig up the entirety of West Lakes and use a fleet of jets to transport the entire suburb out of South Australia and create a new island in the Arctic Sea.

Sadly those plans have had to be shelved for the forseeable future due to the volcano erupting from Iceland crippling the European flight network (I've also heard reports Neil Craig's responsible for that too :D)
