To the naked eye ( my left one, it refuses to wear a patch of clothing) I thought it was a point.

Weekend Wrap and "Liked, Learned, Hated" right here -- How did tipping go?
Just watched it again, vid here
Watch the ball to the last millisecond.
The ball has a heap of side spin and it goes over for a point.
The other one was WellsyLT in the rooms

We may never see the behind the goal footage. You would imagine if it went through for a point they wouldn't have made it into the story it wasI don't think it does mate.
The ball stayed in because Noble led to the pocket.
The goal umpire also never signals a behind.

I went back to Kayo just now and the actual footage of the time it happened, its pretty clear it looked to be still in play. Does not matter at the end of the day. Can't take the gloss of it for meYep
And if it did there would have been a crowd reaction that we were ahead amidst all the chaos. The ump may also have paid advantage if a behind was scored.
Looking back to last week watching at the ground I don’t think the ball made it across - granted I was on the outer wing.
We are so scarred by the mental anguish we've been through that the little man in our heads ruins the party RE the last 30 seconds.
Let me just say this, that win was absolutely phenomenal and should be the launchpad to attack the rest of the season. Weak backline or not, deficiencies or not, all we want is the boys to have a crack.
The first half was the horrid ol' North we've seen for so long it could make anyone relapse. It was terrible. It was awful. But... and this is a first probably in a long time despite all the **** ups we were doing on repeat, I could see that GC were gettable. I'll admit, my confidence was wary, but the feeling was they were absolutely not home. You could see what changes needed to be made. Zurhaar forward, McKercher back, Trembath in the middle and Xerri forward. Alluva sudden, the GC that thought we were 'predictable' during the week isn't so sure now. Konstanty running riot, Trembath taking grabs and leading at the ball, Larkey getting 1v1s and separation, LDU causing havoc, Sheezel running his guts out, FOS playing his best footy so far, Wardlaw hunting like a rabid animal, Simpkin running between the arcs, Daniel causing issues running unopposed inside 50, Duursma getting space, PC deciding to make the centre of the ground his cage, Parker hitting darts and Darling bench pressing any defender that gets near him. Even the backline started to look the goods.
Desire. Effort. Intent.
All it takes is belief and goodness me it can take you places.
Just on this, I wasn't even thinking of positional changes yet I had the exact same thought. A very slight inkling that the game wasn't over just yet despite evidence to the contrary. It was like a weak undercurrent that got slightly stronger with each moment that erased the deficit. It most definitely wasn't there last year at any stage. The first half was the horrid ol' North we've seen for so long it could make anyone relapse. It was terrible. It was awful.
