$50 is affordable, and what it provides sounds like it's a very good initiative.
Wondering, is it for underpriviledged kids, or just kids who wouldn't normally go to the footy?

I think this is a brilliant idea, and i'll definitely chip in with $50...

I don't think its targeted at underprivileged kids, it seems to be more about indoctrinating young kids (in general) in the shire of Casey to become Dees supporters!! (a very good thing BTW!)

I guess its basically a thing for kids who would not normally go to the football for whatever reason, to get them involved with the club from a young age, as its much easier to get young kids to support your club than an adult who already supports another club!

I would make the underpriveledged a priority but wouldn't stop there, lets nick some kids off other clubs.

God knows we have had our fair share taken in the last 20 odd years.

interesting the logo used on the link in the OP.
could it be a sign? i hope so

That's the logo that was used on one of the prospective clash strips, so I'd say it is a definate sign that the Demon is back (wherever possible).

yeah i know that but i have read somewhere that we are locked in to our current logo until end of 09. can anyone confirm this?

Sounds like a great idea.

Rather than some fans simply chipping in an extra $50-$100 on upgraded membership packages, merchandise, donations, and so on, you get the chance to convert young kids into Demons members, which will have a far greater benefit for the club in the long run.

I think this might have been one of the Demon Summit ideas.

I think where kinda doing like what Geelong did, with the two different logo's, but i think Jim Stynes will try work his way around it and put the demon on other stuff like the membership card ect. And I dont think Jim Stynes is too keen on the logo we have now, because after all that was P. Gardeners logo.

pretty sure it was in a members mail out that said something like [in 2009 we] "will see the return of the demon". So maybe the logo will be on as much stuff as possible, it's definitely going that way.
