I really don't know about clubs giving players suspensions for off-field misdemeanors. Of course, the question then is, when does it become more than a misdemeanor?
From what little information that I have read (maybe there was more reported, I dunno), it seemed to me to be little more than a scuffle. As opposed to what the Carlton boys did last year, for instance, which, to my mind, was outright vandalism.
