Sorry but thats just false. Umpires are part of the game and they impact games aswell. They arent the reason a team wins or loses but they sure as hell can contribute to it
I respectfully disagree. The umpires, the weather, the state of the ground, the crowd, how much the ball is inflated and many other factors influence the game, but in my opinion, the combined impact is minimal to the point of being insignificant.
Whether the players are standing in front or behind their opponent when the ball is bounced matters more, let alone team selection, skill execution, effort and everything else the players and coach bring.
But, of course, you are most welcome to express your opinion.
