Your a ****head untill the charity shield this year ruud hadn't missed one in a whole year and I'm sure he takes a lot more than Bobby Despotovski.
Also you have to consider the standard of the leagues they play in. I think it is way harder to score a penalty in the English premier League then the **** house standard of the NSL

Whats different is that Bobby can find the target from the spot and Ruu can't. Despotovski penalty taker for 2001/2002 and 2000/2001 NEVER MISSED

The bottomline is and what this thread is all about is that Bobby's a better penalty taker than Ruud.
I guess what it really comes down to is that if Bobby had of taken the penalty against arsenal then Manu would've won.
EPL is so over rated.
Nandochicken Stam you seem to be quite obsessed with the myth that Bobby's racist. I mean the story came out what 3-4 years ago and your still going on about it now. He's apologised to anybody that was offended by his religious gesture. Its over get over it and move on.

Great by your reasoning its OK for me to go to Ibrox and do the sign of the cross in front of the Govan Stand. Face it, he knew what he was doing and what the sign meant to the Knights fans. To condone what he did proves you are a racist thug. Try telling my family doctor (who happens to be the Club Doctor of the Knights) that it was harmless, and he'll show you what the Knights fans did to dear old Bobby.

Especially after all the efforts that our fans and the Knights army have put in to ease tensions between the clubs and supporters.
I am not a racist and i don't beleive bobby is a racist.
When the knights came over here i went and shook hands with the leader of the Knights army (posts under the name Black Dogg) and had a good chat with him.
It changed my whole perception of the knights supporters. They are really no different to us and just really passionate about there team.
My Previous thoughts were bunch of animalistic thugs.
I accept Slobs explanation that he was preying for glory to win.
However,

Or you could get wheelchair candidates like Richard Gough and Ian Crook

Despetowski only plays in one comp NSL, no cups or anyting. So I would assume he would have taken about 10 penalties in the last 2 years.
Also take into account the quality of goalkeepers and pressure and you simply can't compare the two.
Van Nistelrooy is quite possibly IMO the best from the spot in the world. Bar from his hick ups early this year he always scores and places the ball to perfection.

Just know that a hatrick at international level is a hatrick at international level and you can only score your hatrick against what the other team puts on the field.
It just so happens Despotovski has an International Hatrick to his name.
