If this came out on the Switch 2 I’d probably jump back in. Laying bed doing some casual grinding.

Bring back the seasonal model IMO. I can't see how this new model is going to satisfy the remaining player base when the entirety of the launch day content of a new "season" can be done in about 15 minutes.
Anyway, been sitting on silver for a while so decided to drop it on a set of the new taken ornament set. Chucked on this shader as I'm running a solar build so it's kind of fitting but the red isn't quite this intense. I guess that's from trying to take a screen shot in HDR which is why the entire image is bright. Windows takes better shots than Steam but they're also too large to attach. The armour effect is also animated. Probably one of the coolest sets they've done.

Purdy shader.
Reading that the 'Portal' is a bit poo?
I've always felt that Destiny (D1 specifically) worked best as a companion game to whatever you were playing, but you still had incentive to come back weekly for RNG drops and you still had the grind to max level. Seems like this has swung back way too far?
The Destiny 2 subreddit keeps popping up on my feed and it always seems to be quite negative.
The grind seems worse then ever, that being said, if it was like $15 id consider it.
Shame such a shader is hidden behind the eververse. It does like nice.
That is a lot of silver. The taken shader is locked behind a ridiculous 2000 silver package that also includes a hoverboard. The ornament set I showed though is "only" 1600 silver and IMO better value because you can chuck other shaders on it for cool effects.
That is a lot of silver.
I know they want their money but I feel for the long term players who are just getting milked when it feels like they should be rewarded for sticking around so long.
That looks sick. Titan one look decent?Bring back the seasonal model IMO. I can't see how this new model is going to satisfy the remaining player base when the entirety of the launch day content of a new "season" can be done in about 15 minutes.

It takes shaders really well. A cool one is the photo finish shader because then it goes full RGB lol.
Just on the topic of scummy Eververse, you know how every season there is a featured paid armour set on top of the one you unlock through the season track. From memory they started off at around 800 silver or 1200 bright dust or something. Firstly I noticed they've removed the option to use bright dust to buy these sets and have also jacked up the silver price (I think this began around the Assassin's Creed cross over). Bright dust is now just for the weekly store offerings and certain themed armour sets like during solstice.
Secondly, you also remember how each season a preciously paid armour set would feature piece by piece over the weeks in the weekly bright dust offerings. Last season it was the paid stasis set from Beyond Light. Anyway the week I it was the boots they were causing issues on warlock where the ornament was glitching and not displaying properly. Instead of fixing it they disabled the purchase of the ornament. Now I'm missing one piece from that set and I want to complete it then I have to cough up 400 silver on the "discounted" set from the store (discount based on how many parts you already own). Dick move. Just let me use my dust again Bungo.
How much does 400 silver equate to? (From memory had to get 2000 at a minimum and think that was about $30?
