Couple of guys on reddit saying they got the husk of the pitt from the fist of crota mission. Its a white weapon drop, i got a white weapon drop last night and sharded it without checking hope it wasnt it

The Husk of the Pit pops up on the screen like a Raid reward with its picture on the right side of screen.. You probably would have noticed that.

You level it up at Eris when you hit the 4th rank, I'm not sure if it turns into a legendary or exotic I haven't heard much about it until it was posted about here.

You pump experience into it, and once it has enough, buy an item from Eris and use it on the gun. It then turns into a Legendary Auto Rifle. Pump experience into it again until it's fully upgraded, then use an item that only drops in the hard mode Crota raid. It turns into an Exotic Auto Rifle, which triggers an explosion like the Cursed Thralls every time you get a precision kill with it.

The amounts of times I think I utter the words, "Oh God, what the hell is this thing now?" cannot be exaggerated.

At this point, I hope I can eventually level up high enough so I can buy all the emblems. I love the look of them all.
