Xur seems to be a bit irrelevant, hasnt sold anything decent for ages

Xur is about as good a time in the game as when you are trying to quickly knock out some patrol missions & it sends you like three loading section areas away to scan some cruddy crevice or something.

Guess I'll get the boots. Any benefit to getting dragons breath? Got maxed hunger of crota and 331 void/arc launchers (and a differentent styled launcher in each damage type not upgraded)

What do the locks think about starfire protocol? I like the first column perks, and even though it doesn't stack using AoL is cool, but is it really worth the exotic slot?

I have to get a decent second helmet before I can use it, even if I do buy.

Six months is a long time between expansions. With House of Wolves containing no more content than the Dark Below (and lots of people already 32 or close enough within a month of that release) it's unlikely that we'll spend six months playing it and therefore far from certain that we will come back in September.

Problem is the massive re-write ****ed a lot of the content.

from what we've seen was the factions were supposed to be at war with each other (rather than the wars being a past conflict), rasputins bunker was actually part of the mysterious faction that was kicked out of the tower for example.

we know this from the ID's on the assets, when the game originally shipped. basically it looks like the dark below just reused some of those assets, which is why i'm not holding my breath for house of wolves to be something epic.

but Comet looks like its the first, true expansion since the re-write. will be interesting to see how it turns out and what follows it.
