Fatebringer will be fine for the first section and probably the bridge in my opinion. But we may have to look for something else for Ir Yut, although I'm mostly using secondary weapons then anyway.

Sections where the predominant enemy is Thrall I'll back Fatebringer in, but I don't have Hawkmoon which may just be a better weapon for the occasion by then.
 
I think a maxed MIDA is going to be awesome in hard mode personally. As well as the ability, movement and speed buff it also has the stagger perk which might be invaluable. It's good for accuracy and headshots too, with a good magazine and reload speed.

Of course, if you're using gjallarhorn and/or ice breaker it will take some juggling but I still think it's going to be huge

How's Reidy jr's quest for coins going? I gave my nephew Destiny yesterday & he's already at lvl 10 so if he needs a hand with a different character eventually I'm sure he wouldn't mind helping/tagging along with a few missions.

We are at level 19. About to do some strikes, finish his last bounty and had them in. Hopefully 20 shortly. Just having some connection issues...he cannot get on yet I can...weird.

Edit: How old is your nephew?

He's 14, is Reidy jr planning on keeping the 2nd warlock or are you just planning to get the coins & do another weeks worth of stuff weeklies etc then break it down & make a titan/hunter from fresh?

Tyson had the right idea & started with a warlock lol, i'll jump on & help him with a few missions shortly to get to 20 asap as that's when the game really starts.

He will keep it I assume. It was actually his sisters that she had started. She does not play much though but creates one to feel like she is part of it. May have to get reidyjnr and your nephew together so they can do some missions.

Yeah I figured that could be one way that we can still help when needed whilst being able to do things bounties/nightfalls/raids for our characters lol, it helps they're both around the same part in the game.

I'm glad it looks like Jr will be able to get icebreaker it's a shame Tyson will miss out, he liked using it when he had a run with my character & it probably won't be available to buy for a while again.

Hoping to get to 20 shortly. He has to leave at 2 today and is worried haha. We are in strike play ATM. Send me your nephews psn if you like and I will get jnr to add him.

  1. Win 5 Crucible matches to obtain An Invitation.
  2. Bring the invitation to the Bounty Tracker to obtain The First Test.
  3. Perform feats of skill in the Crucible to obtain The First Test - Completed.
  4. Return to the Bounty Tracker to obtain The Second Test.
  5. Trade Motes of Light for Osiris Coins. Use the coins to compete in the Trials of Osiris. If you lose 3 times you will need to use another coin. Earn 10 wins on a single coin, or 25 wins total in the Trials of Osiris to obtain The Second Test - Completed.
  6. Return to the Bounty Tracker to obtain The Third Test.
  7. Perform kills, headshots, and killing sprees with any scout rifle in the Crucible to obtain The Third Test - Completed.
  8. Return to the Bounty Tracker to finally obtain Fate of All Fools.
That's not too bad. As long as you don't lose too much, there will be some serious try-harding but I'm pretty sure with the right team we can pretty comfortably win 3 games for every loss. It'll all depend on if, upon losing, you need to get the invitation again or if it's simply just another mote of light.
