Richmond have developed some good prospects for future years in: Thursfield, McGuane, White, Riewoldt, Edwards.
And we have also been good signs from: Hughes, Polo, Connors, Cotchin
And the improvment of: Moore, Pattison, Tambling, Shultz and Morton
And the lift of: Tuck, Newman, Johnson and Simmonds has been the big turning point this year with them leading the way for the youngsters.

But if we do lose to Brisbane this week our finals chances are just about washed away.

Look there comes a time when a coach has to pley what he thinks is his team. his best 22. The Mortons Foleys Whites and Riewoldts are obvious potential who should play every game this season now but you play a bunch of kids without older lads and you get creamed.

Raines, JON, Meyer are fringe thats why im saying that they need to be tessted to see if they deserve to be on our list next year. In fact i wouldnt be bad mouthing jackson and tuck because they were two of of best players last year when richmond beat you.

Now that tambling remark was ridiculous.... We know Buddy is better that doesn't mean tambling is bad just becausse buddy is one of the bestplayers in the competiton.

And i dont want to go through collingwoods drafting errors so can u just stop trolling

We here at RFC hope, repeat HOPE that Raines, JON & Meyer make the grade. Do you think that it's only you who sees their shortcomings?
Meyer, until recently, has been injured for as long as I can remember but has been performing well in the Magoos. Raines disposal is a sometimes a worry and he also has been injured and JON's awareness is often non-existent but he does have talent. They're just kids let's not forget.

You haven't been paying attention if you don't rate Tucky - I'm not saying rate highly, I'm just saying RATE. Sure, he's never gonna be a top-liner but we like his grunt and courage and his disposal has improved immensely since last year. In fact he's been very influencial for the last 4 games....probably more influencial than Dane Swan - another "average player at best".

People are always ready to bag Richie Tambling - yep, he has a tendency to go missing but they don't notice that he laid 3rd most tackles at the club.
Speaking of high draft picks, how's young Josh Fraser's development coming along?

Have you had a look at your own list.
You have the most overrated player of the last 30 years in Anthony Rocca.
You have "Ohhhhh Which way did he go" brainsurgeons like O'Bree, O'Brien, Toovey, Goldsack, and, Shaw (Rhyce), the list just goes on, then of course you have the most over-hyped player in the comp who can play a bit but will never live up the the reputation he has in Dale Thomas.
So before you start on another teams list have a look at the crap you have holding up your own dung hill.
You do have one thing that you can hang your hat on and that is the fact the Malthouse is the best motivator coaching the game.
That is without a doubt the reason your team is over performing year after year.
I hope for your sake that he can keep it up because if your players have a good look at themselves and realise how bad they really are then you will suddenly find yourselves at the bottom end of the ladder, with a mass of basket cases on your hands.

So far this year Tambling is averaging more possessions and tackles per game than Daisy Thomas, despite fewer minutes on the ground, and all (I am led to believe) at a higher efficiency rating.


But then to be fair, you did say "worst number 4" and not "worst top 4 draft pick".

we have better young blokes then your side mate. foley is better then any of your blokes under 23 or anyone on your list for that matter, riewoldt is better then ben reid,morton will be better than thomas (who is an over-rated ***),deledio better then penddlebury,patto as good as if not better then wood,kel moore as good as obrien, thursfield better then brown,polo as good as clarke, and then theres cotchin well boy he goes alright dont he.

I would love to see some of the above guys play and do well - however i think its more important to have a good finish to the season finals or not. A club and a supporter base can take a lot into the offseason after a strong finish to the season. Play the kids if the form in the twos warrants it and if there is a spot. At the moment who can make way for the guys mentioned barring injury?

Having said all that I would definately be a fan of giving Rance a taste at senior level if his form keeps up. Give him a carrot. Same with Meyer. I think we have seen JON. Give him another preseason and an NAB campaign. Connors was good at senior level. In his 5 games or so he has been very good. Don't think the issue is whether he can play or not - so we don't need to see him. Just need him to put in a big pre-season.

Raines - his first season was sensational - may need to work on his deficincies though - the twos coming back from injury is fair enough for him.
