Developing players is the only way to really go forwardin the afl, i hope collingwood now realise this.

Yeah, its no good taking Burns as a 20 year old, or Rocca as a 20 year old or Bucks as a 21 year old.
Then there is Didak, McGough, Cole, Cloke x 2, O'bree, Tarks etc etc
Plus we have had the youngest or second youngest list in the league for the last 3 years.
Yep we need to develop youngsters.

Err ............. then what have we been doing since MM arrived can anyone enlighten me please?

I seem to remember that when Eddie arrived that we had a youth policy put in place, thats why promoted people like Lockyer
from the rookie list!!!!!!
90% of our list is under the ' average age of a good footbaler" 21 -23

Stealing?
Woewodin was sacked. Rocca and Buckley were drafted in spite of the clubs full knowledge that they wouldn't stay. In fact Brisbane signed a contract with Buckley so he would be traded at the end of the year for a set price. We stole O'Bree.

Oh so that's what you call the draft? It's not called "Stealing" it's called a "trade" all teams do it, so that means the whole league is stealing eh?

To say we are "stealing players" is one of the most stupid, inane, dip**** accusations i have ever heard or read, even at a pre school level. Why dont u just stick to the usual weak draw, eddie's COI, whinging about how good Buckley is etc instead of trying to think up new trolls. What an absolute loser.

I see his point.Our best players with exeption of Burnsy and Tarrant are imports.But thats just smart trading and we have had full benefit from this trading.10-11 players that played for the pies on the weekend were recycled.I love this,i love how a bunch of blokes from all corners can come to together and form a solid unit.With exeption of ****ter nick davis do you hear any rumours about collingwood players being homesick and wanting to run home to mummy? We have some good footy ahead of us with our list that i believe will get stronger this years draft. Go PIES!!!!
