Jod you keep calling him a skinny lad, if that's skinny god help any team when he fills out. He is actually quite well proportion body wise and is nothing like Matthew Burton.

Gardiner is at present in very good form, so the best thing for a number 2 ruckman to improve his game is to play against the best.

I still find it laughable that you think he is a serious threat to Gardiner

I'm sorry if you thought that I said that he was a threat to Gardiner which I clearly didn't.

I was pointing out that he is not as bad as you blokes make out (certainly better even at this early stage than Dean Cox is now) and the COMBINATION of a Sandilands and a fresher Simmonds will go a long way to evening up the ruck duel in Round 22.

As Kenny said there are no threads on the Freo board connected to the Eagles but there are a few here connected to us.

So it's you blokes that should be worried about your own team.

USA eagle's post sounded like an outraged dockers supporter of bygone years when one of your mob made an outrageous or disparaging remark. :)

Under Woosha's coaching the eagles are one if not the most exciting team in the competition, even for non-supporters. I remember when non-supporters used to whine about the eagles' boring play but when they were winning , who cares? Under judge they were losing and boring definately a bad combination but now there is a lot to like about West Coast.

Totals after 6 games

Overall I think that as a Ruckman with limited ground time Sandilands is a nose in front.

What does Gardiner's 5th game being better than Sandilands' 5th game prove exactly? What if Sandilands' 6th game is better than Gardiner's 6th game? What a useless stat. Comparing averages is one thing but comparing individual games is just stupid. Even with averages, you don't take into consideration game time, balance of the game, etc. Especially when players are just starting out.

Ripper came up with the original 5th game comparison.

:D :D :D :D

who cares if sandilands is the hunchback of notre dam, he is just another spider burton who'll u'll off-trade for another dud.

(one thing though, i do believe sandilands has potential to be a good player, just not as a docker :D )

Which was my point exactly when Ripper started saying it

Really? You're a good judge Carly.

Well, whats Sandilands done so far in his career anyway???
Im sick and tired of Violets thinking they rule the world when their club havent even made a finals series just yet! Its all well and good for them to win in Melbourne but untill they play in a finals series and actually win a premiership it counts for nothing. Im not being anti docker either- I believe the same for the Eagles and for every other club in the competition!
