Why some people on here would want to trade a qualilty 22 yo player like Walker for a 25yo aborted low-life figure like Didak is beyond me.

On the field, Walker's versatility and upside will be of far more benefit to our team going forward than Didak. Ok, granted he can be a freaky player, but really the baggage this bloke brings is just too great a risk.

And when you consider we give up 3 to 4 years of a career (considering the age difference), it ain't good mathematics or decision making to me.

This trade will never happen because of two reasons:

1) People from Carlton overate AW and other clubs underrate him. Given he has just come back from a serious injury he will be way under market value and clubs may not be willing to take the risk. That said he is a superb talent and it is almost guaranteed if we traded him successfully we would not get value back.

2) Other clubs still rate didak highly. As bad as his off field behaviour has been he is still someone who could break a game apart. Therefore, even after this latest situation he will still command an early first round pick from someone(see port)

Personally I would love him at Geelong. I know the club chased his dad but obviously nothing came of it.

Some people need to realize he didn't have a good relationship with Pagan and subsequently his development stalled. I think we'll start to see Andrew's real talent shine under Ratten.

ok if we trade walker for didak we may as well trade kreuzer for brogan and judd for steven milne.

Didak has average pace, os purely a ground level player, who plays average footy as a midfielder and is a typical foward pocket who kicks a few back and hard goals and goes missing V good sides.

Walker has the potential to be a lightning quick judd like onballer, as well as a good all round forward. Also Didak is a D#%&head, just what we need at Carlton. Nobrainer.

Exactly if Saturdays game hasn't proved that Walker is untouchable then I don't know what will. Walker is a great person of the field as well and someone who is Blue through and through. No way do I want him to leave for a scum bag.
