Thanks for the analysis. All of these supplements that sound too good to be true tend to be just that. Still sounds worthy of further research.
NP.
Based off some other background reading and studies I had a glance at there’s probably a sub-population that could benefit from Ashwagandha but it doesn’t appear to be your stereotypical young, healthy male.

Works a treat for me. Although I am in fact a grumpy old banged up campaigner. :(

Watching porn is a known test booster.

My porn stack looks like this.

Pre workout:
I Dream Of Jenna

Intra workout:
Talk Dirty To Me 1

Post workout:
The Best of the Solid Gold Dancers - Summer of 83.

There were rumours at one point that some AFL clubs/players were looking at porn in the rooms before games for a bit of a boost.
Iirc it’s actually been studied a bit and the arousal doesn’t do much (if anything) to enhance performance (though I could be completely wrong).

Might make the opposition less keen to tackle you though!

Took a couple of Test Boosters (Asparctic Acid & Test Booster Combination from Bulk Nutrients) for around 6 months, noticed zero difference.

I am now trying Green Fusion, Red Fusion and Essential Amino Acids.

I am and have been trying for years to get on top of a feeling of fatigue that I get very regularly, I eat what I would call a very good diet which I have experimented on a lot as well.

I have thrown the protein powders, the vitamins, the creatines, in the bin. Total s**t.

I swear by 3 supplements, and 3 supplements only. I have ranked them in order of awesomeness:

Armodafinil
TOTAL WAR
Ashwagandha

The only supplements that work are the illegal ones.

Anything off the shelf only has a minor effect.
Possibly the best thing ever said when it comes to supplements n that.

When I first joined a gym circa 2005, it was the height of tribulus mania. Apparently this supplement was the closest thing to steroids EVER!

The stacks people were taking was insane, and I sometimes thought they were all in on a private joke to take the piss out of me.

"Bro, I'm on like tribulus, nitrous, glutamine, creatine, chromium domium animal paks vitamin a b c f z"

"fu** that's sick. You're almost on steroids."

"Every campaigner thinks I'm on steroids but I'm not, but like the stack I'm on is almost like steroids"

"Oh my god ule, so true"

It was then I realised that every meathead who swears they will never take steroids, is on a secret quest to find the holy grail that is a legal safe steroid. Hot on the heels of these desperadoes are charlatans who have cottoned on to this, and are looking to make a quick buck.

The supplement peddlers sometimes get caught up in the hype, and talk like they actually believe what they're saying.

If you want to know how this plays out in real life see Essendon Football Club 2012.

I’m all for protein powders, quick and easy. But will agree if you can eat your protein requirements then no need for them. I also take creatine and glutamine, they barely break the bank from bulk nutrients.

As for the average gym goer who takes steroids I do laugh, all the health risks just to look big. Half the time guys just eat rubbish, look flabby and have bad achne. Unless you are going make a go of body building, taking steroids is a waste of time*

*strictly my opinion

Any ideas for a good quality multi-vitamin that isn't owned by big pharma? I've always used Centrum but recently realised they're owned by Pfizer, thought Cenovis were an Australian brand but they're owned by Sanofi.

Refuse to use a big pharma supplement on principle.

What's a decent take away to have after a big session?
Usually I like sushi rolls or kebabs (kebab meat with sauces at a pinch)

Creatine has a decent amount of research behind it.

I also have protein powder in the morning post-gym for convenience as I have to rush off to work afterwards. Weekends I have more time and can just have a meal.
