My dear fellow Bigfootyites,

The unthinkable has happened. My external hard drive has crashed and - amongst all the photos, both personal and exotic my folder labelled "Footy" has also bitten the bullet.

As a London based footy fan, downloading our matches is the best way for me to see us play. When my hard drive died I lost:

Most North matches 2007-2011
Most of 'The Winners' and 'On the Couch' from 2007-2011 (Much better with Grybas hosting than Der-wayne!)
Some Footy Classifieds
Some AFL Insiders from this year

My question is, does anyone have a similar stash and if so would they be willing if I sent them a hard drive to help me begin to recover what I've lost?

Please PM me if you can help. This is a true off season tragedy!

Hope everyone is well. Go Roos 2012!

Thanks
Yianni

I have most games in 2011, thats it. I'm sure you'd get someone with a more extensive collection.

Dont give up on the hard drive, there are specialists that can retrieve almost anything from the worst of states.

Good luck.

you dont back up ? Either buy a couple of cheap TB drives and/or back up to one of the many cloud services on offer, Amazon, iCloud, Google Docs etc...I pay $50 a year for 200GB of storage from Google, its a bit slow uploading, but not too bad for the price you pay.

Why? You can buy a 2TB hard drive for $100

Off site storage. A 2TB drive wont survive a house fire, theft etc etc. I backup all my stuff to external drives, and the stuff I can't afford to lose like family photos, home videos of the kids etc all gets backed up to the cloud.
