It all went downhill when Big H ed up that simple chance for a goal......then moments later Chapman had the ball, had a tonne of options, opted for the 50m kick on the run and missed......then Kelly had the ball, could have penetrated inside 50, opted for a 20m chip right in the path of a richmond player, from the move Richmond got a goal. 7 points up.

Then Wojcinski took on a richmon player, another one came at him head on, forgot to release it, easy goal for Richmond.

Bad bounce, Ottens went straight to Ling, Ling put his arm out to stop the richmond bloke Blind Ump called it a free to Richmond, Another goal, 5 points down.

Then they got another mark inside 50 after we broke down going forward (can't remember what happened), easy goal 11 points down.

We fight back hard and miss a couple of shots but Rooke (another great tackle) and Byrnes scored 2 to put us infront.

More dominant play from the Cats, Went inside 50 a tonne of times, Ling took a mark right on the line, could have easily got a goal, played on backward to mackie who dropped it and coughed up possesion. Ablett just missed after he stood up in a crowd of players.

Wojcinski missing that easy one 40m out.

We could not convert our dominance, it's very frustrating

obviously not, kent has been one of our best he's presented well and his work rate has been exceptional.

kelly has been the worst *shudder* absolutely shocker today...i have the feeling johno is in for a shocker too. Our midfielder's decision making is disgraceful.

johnson marks 35m out right in front but decides to handball to milburn who has two tigers surrounding him...what a en tool

jarad rooke is our only decent player....the rest are a bunch of pansies

Johnsons decision making can be poor at times however Stevie thought we were on the run and tried to keep the momentum (which he started with that marvelous pressure kick) Stevie likes to keep it moving (and finally Geelong are doing that today, despite no help from the umps)

Steve had a pretty big 3rd quarter, ran hard, created a few opportunities.

One bad decision but he is really doing alot of hard yards around the packs.

Just wanted to get a feel as to whether you think Bomber should have the support down there that he has.

You have a great list and while he got the performances out of you for the last two years he had plenty of time from supporters to do so.

Plenty of coaches would like to get there teeth in to your present list.

What is Couchys spin on things. Usually entertaining in his articles up there with his hold no punches comments.

If we werent playing for draft picks last week, we certainly are at that stage now everybodies!!

Geelong weren't playing for draft picks last week, they were simply thrashed by a far, far, far superior team. Clubs can't play for draft picks anymore anyway under the new priority pick rules because each team gets one pick only in the first round.

Besides, it's supposed to be a very strong draft for next season, so there is not much difference of quality between the 1st pick and the 16th pick. In other words, Geelong will not get any benefit for finishing on the bottom of the ladder, and it's possible that is where they will finish for the next few seasons.
