Oakleigh's biggest problem last year was they relied heavily on their top 8-9 players. Not a good start to the pre-season if those blokes have left.

Pre-season started for the Hoes on Wednesday with very good numbers and the new coaches.

No players have moved on at this stage and have all recommitted to the club in 2017.

We need to work a lot harder in the offseason than we did last year if we want to be competitive in D1 this year, so the next few weeks before Xmas will give us our first indication of what level of effort everyone at the club is prepared to put in.

Good luck to all the other teams and I hope pre-season is going well for everyone.

Interesting fixture as there are quite a few 2 aways and 2 home games. What is wrong with 1 home , 1 away. there are no ground clashes, so why does it have to be like that.
