Well done to La Trobe Uni and Masala on their wins over the weekend. just seeing who won the ressies match between BHN and Masala today ?

Was a good game, wouldn’t call it an upset though.
I left at half time of St. John’s v masala and thought St. John’s had the game under control. Great effort masala!
I only watched a quarter but thought Masala were threatening. A good chance to beat Swinburne next week.

Who did you think played well?

There's a post yesterday on La Trobe's FB page which starts "After a bitter end to yesterday’s game with one of our pivotal senior men off to hospital with a horrific injury ..."
Broken leg I believe.

Looks like the make up of Div 3 and 4 are starting to come together with the VAFA calling clubs over the last couple of days.

Division 4 - 18 rounds, 6 clubs

For six clubs, it would be the best scenario, even if people will find a negative and say "we play X once at home but twice away".
20 games is far too long for a six-club fixture because the four could be set with as many as four or five matches to go.

You’d think that they would use seeding method.
I wonder if the gurus at HQ have thought of substituting the top 3 or 4 from Div 4 with the lower 3 or 4 in Div 3 at the (approximately) half way point?
The precedent has been set with the girls, and (not sure) with the U19s and Clubbies.

Won’t happen. Silly idea.
