Someone better let him know that the curve is meant to be on an upward trend. Would love to know what his KPIs actually are, if indeed there are any?, we must have set the bar ridiculously low.Yep he's breaking his own records now.
we cant pay dimma out, dont have the funds. guess we are stuck with himDimma can take Peggy and Gale with him they are as much to blame, all 3 have disrespected this great club

so youre saying we DO NOT have the coin to pay him out so there is no chance he goes this year ? just dont have the funds ?
Maybe the Muppets that gave the contract extension the green light back in March can get out on Collins street traffic lights and start rattling the tins.we have more money than most clubs to pay out a coach
in this case debt will be a good thingI'm saying if we spend $1m on this, plus the extras we are already spending for a new coaching and recruiting team, we will be a couple of million in debt AND we will pay the afl equalisation tax in 2017 (we are currently just below the threshold)
I find it hard to disagree with anything you said. Therefore I won't. Pretty close to the mark, I reckon.I'm not here to bag him.
Done a great job getting us up and about but he has had his time.
Thanks Dimma but it's time, has been for a while.
My focus is on the type of coach we need.
Some coaches have an over inflated reputation by way of circumstance.
Ross Lyon is a great example of somebody who has walked into two clubs and just taken over what others had built up and failed. Yet I bet people would fall over themselves to have him coach us.
Not here. I think we need a coach who has had a taste of building something but then been denied by an early pull of the trigger yet hungers for more.
Guys like Knights and Ratten come to mind. They aren't damaged goods and still have much to prove.
They have both shown the maturity to take a step back to assistant coaching to improve their skills and capabilities.
I think their time is now these two blokes.
Completely understand those who disagree but that's my opinion.
Well now is as good as time as any for the Club to start to make Football decisions rather than penny pinching ones.I'm saying if we spend $1m on this, plus the extras we are already spending for a new coaching and recruiting team, we will be a couple of million in debt AND we will pay the afl equalisation tax in 2017 (we are currently just below the threshold)
Didn't the players have the losers of one of their own challenges out cleaning windscreens at the lights on Punt Rd/Swann St intersection? Rance or Newy from memory? That would be a good fit as well for "Penny". Two years of Dimma's salary to make up guys, that's a lot of squeegeeing!Maybe the Muppets that gave the contract extension the green light back in March can get out on Collins street traffic lights and start rattling the tins.
I believe they've set no bar and just allowed a walk through.Someone better let him know that the curve is meant to be on an upward trend. Would love to know what his KPIs actually are, if indeed there are any?, we must have set the bar ridiculously low.
Well I wish he would just keep walking!I believe they've set no bar and just allowed a walk through.

It appears Hardwick got his iceberg metaphor confused and we are in fact the Titanic. What’s worse is him prancing around like the captain of the Costa Concordia.
The rabble against the Swans was the product of 7 years with Hardwick at the helm. Instead of building our list from 4 years ago at the start of our finals run it has deteriorated to a shambles. We are left looking for answers in B grade depth players.
The lack of development and future options was on display for all to see.
Do we wait another 2 years to see if Hardwick is capable of change and addressing his own failures as a coach? Why would we want to take that gamble after 7 years?
We can only go off the evidence available. And the definition of insanity is “to continue repeating the same thing expecting a different result”.
Can we fix all our list problems in one trade period? NO
Will sacking Hardwick fix all our problems overnight? NO
Will keeping Hardwick fix all our problems? NO
Will a new coach offer an opportunity for change? YES
Will a new coach address recruiting priorities, weekly selections, player positions, skill development, tackling and game plan differently? YES
Is that good for Richmond? YES
I want to see a Richmond team ferocious at the contest, tackling, shepherding and able to execute any game plan on the day with confidence, skill and precision.
Premierships and finals are one thing. But it’s a long season and as a Richmond supporter I at least expect to be able to enjoy most of the 22 games, win or lose. And I expect not to be embarrassed in any of them.
I don’t want the club to wait until mid 2017 to save face. I want Hardwick gone before the trade/draft period and the preseason, to inject fresh ideas and a new mind set for 2017 and the future. We need to be stronger after the next 2 years. A period while our current elite players will still be in their prime (for Lids it may even be too late). He won't be gone though and that's why the executive also gets criticised.
Calling for a new coach is not personal. It’s a business decision required to achieve on field success (not a financial one) and it’s not a knee jerk reaction. Patience and perseverance with Hardwick was provided and did not pay off.
Anyone expecting calls for Hardwick’s sacking to go away, is out of luck.
Stability in everything except financeswe cant pay dimma out, dont have the funds. guess we are stuck with him
Do you honestly think the AFL will tax us if it was going to kill the club?Increase our annual cost by $2m a year (once afl tax and interest are added in) how long do you think we will solvent losing $1-2m every single year?
But we have a gun board we have sponsors lining up we are managing health centresIncrease our annual cost by $2m a year (once afl tax and interest are added in) how long do you think we will solvent losing $1-2m every single year?
Well when we are 3 - 8 next season then maybe just maybe the board might realise something should have been done about the coach at the end of the 2016 season.
We could ask some of the other Clubs how they survived all those years of debt or alternatively and this is just a wild idea. Maybe just maybe the Richmond Board can do their jobs and find ways to increase revenue.....Increase our annual cost by $2m a year (once afl tax and interest are added in) how long do you think we will solvent losing $1-2m every single year?
its so difficult to predict how itll turn out though.Well when we are 3 - 8 next season then maybe just maybe the board might realise something should have been done about the coach at the end of the 2016 season.
It's a amazing, sticks up for the Board saying they are doing a great job. Then argues that the Board can't fire the Coach because they haven't made any money. But we have a gun board we have sponsors lining up we are managing health centres
